Inhale 03:26
Who would've thought that After all the life I gave you You would turn around and I'd be the one who needed saving A little sweet will make the bitter go down That's what they say to me Do everything you need to make him come around But that's the old me Changed my approach Choosing the high road Everyone knows The higher the rise The harder the fall Changed my approach Choosing the high road Everyone knows The higher the rise The harder the fall Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale Set me free Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Might be difficult to process May be the pain in the progress What a pretty life concept Dirty white heels in the moshpit Could've brought me home if you wanted But I was more than what you wanted Now you're caught up in my web Now you're caught up in my Changed my approach Choosing the high road Everyone knows The higher the rise The harder the fall Changed my approach Choosing the high road Everyone knows The higher the rise The harder the fall Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale Set me free Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Inhale, Inhale I just wanna breathe Report a problem

Pause 02:33
Wait Tell me there's something I can do 'Cause I can't take another day confused Say That nothing's gonna change I just want everything to stay the same Give me a reason that I should stay Give me a reason to spend another day Give me a reason, say anything Give me a reason Give me a reason Give me a reason that I should stay Give me a reason to spend another day Give me a reason, say anything Give me a reason Give me a reason It's like a song inside my head I danced alone No one will come to stand beside me And I'm afraid to fade away And you'll forget who I am This double edge, a broken smile To take the pain away Cutting through the madness And I'm afraid to tell you things Feel memories pulling me to the edge Give me a reason that I should stay Give me a reason to spend another day Give me a reason, say anything Give me a reason Give me a reason Give me a reason that I should stay Give me a reason to spend another day Give me a reason, say anything Give me a reason Give me a reason Give me a reason That I should stay That I should stay Say something babe Say something babe Reason Give me a reason

Blackout 03:06
Chasing the waters Chasing the rivers I know Been movin' cautious The ones I trust seem to hurt me the most Won't you remind me Remind me what it was Won't you remind me Remind me what it was Won't you remind me Remind me what it was Won't you remind me Remind me what it was I can't recall if anyone loves me at all You take and you take And I hate how you take advantage Making these plans Making advances Getting expensive at my expense It doesn't make sense To share all my love and none of the damage Won't you remind me Remind me what it was Won't you remind me Remind me what it was Remind me what it was What it was What it was What it was What it was

Unsteady 02:57
Still remember it all Going through the withdrawals Answer every time you call You know I'll play the sweetheart Blackout at the party Remember where we started Can't escape the hurry Of things we never wanted And I don't recognize Don't recognize you When you act this way When you act this way And I don't recognize Don't recognize you When you act this way When you act this way Way, yeah, yeah Tryna keep the peace There's something in between Hate that we don't speak It just ain't the same We got different needs Caught on different streets Seeking out the tree For a little shade Restless Encompassed Sweep it under blankets Steady tip The blunt hit The numbness that it comes with And I don't recognize Don't recognize you When you act this way When you act this way And I don't recognize Don't recognize you When you act this way When you act this way Way, yeah, yeah

about

R&B Singer/Songwriter Monelle is set to release another body of work on July 8th 2022 as a follow-up to her critically acclaimed album In Loathing Memory. Expanding on the themes of isolation and mental health, she dives into her personal experiences yet again to explore how trauma affects friendships and family.

Exclusively produced by IORDN and mastered by Rogan Kelsey (Mlindo The Vocalist, Sun-El Musician, Tresor), Breathing Room EP is unlike anything Monelle has ever done before.

Stepping into the role of executive producer, Monelle set out to embody the true raw emotion of navigating the world whilst struggling with mental health. This EP was written to comfort those who feel alone, and offers a guide for others to understand how to care for and listen to their friends when they're going through difficulties.
